- Sea Fishing
The sea territory of East Java province covers a total area of about 75,700 square kilometers. The coast line of the province is about 2,128 kilometer long 1,600 km of this is suitable for fishing. The Exclusive Economic Zone extends to about 12 nautical miles from the shore. The fishing fleet of 20 units from 70 to 80 GT boats generate US$ 5,5 MM per year per boat.

- Shrimp Farming
42,000 ton per year.
Shrimp ponds in a total area of at least 3,517 hectares (ha) in the following regencies:
o Lumajang, 1,520 hectares (ha);
o Jember, 550 ha;
o Malang, 150 ha;
o Blitar, 300 ha;
o Tulungagung, 38 ha;
o Pacitan, 866 ha;
o Trenggalek, 33 ha.

The ponds will be used to farm vanamei shrimp, one of the most demanded species in the frozen shrimp market.
